NEWSROOM
Bill to go on tour with TD Book
Week
In May, Bill will tour Prince Edward Island as part of the TD Canadian Children's Book
Week 2015 national tour.
The tour is organized by the Canadian Children’s Book Centre in Toronto. Each year, 30
or so authors and illustrators are sponsored on the tour outside of their own home
provinces, to do school author visits and public presentations.
The tour will be May 2-9. As sponsor, TD/CCBC covers all travel and accommodations
costs, and schools and libraries may arrange for visits and readings through tour
organizers.
For a full list of those on the tour this year: http://www.bookweek.ca/
An interesting note: of the 29 authors, illustrators and performers to be part of the 2015
tour, two are from the community of Courtice: Bill, and fellow author (and Ajax librarian)
Joel Sutherland.
